About GMS and New Energy, LLC.

Global Manufacturing Services, Inc. (GMS, Inc.) is based in West Jefferson, NC. While GMS is a full service contract manufacturer; we are one of two members of the LED Lighting Consortium. The other member, New Energy, LLC. (New Energy) is located in Raleigh, NC. GMS is a privately held company and therefore with the help of New Energy; we have a great deal of flexibility to move fast to serve our customers. We serve customers primarily in the Southeastern United States, but we also can assemble products for anyone in the world from our factory in North Carolina or an affiliated factory in Thailand. We source many of our components from around the world and have associations with assembly services in other parts of Asia.

Low-Risk, High-Quality Domestic and Overseas Manufacturing

Global Manufacturing Services offers low risk, high quality manufacturing services through our factory in North Carolina as well as sites in Asia. Our services include printed circuit board assembly (both leaded as well as RoHS), electronic contract manufacturing services, 'box build' services as well as complete product manufacturing. Because we purchase large numbers of components, including bare PC boards, we can supply OEM and prototype houses with these components. Company Profile

Global Manufacturing Services has offices and manufacturing facilities in Western North Carolina where there is a well educated and willing work force ready to take on the challenging task of manufacturing today's high tech electronics. Jobs which require very high volume and/or technical challenges beyond the capability of our North Carolina factory are referred to an affiliate in Thailand. Each company has one or more significant and complimentary strengths that when combined together creates a dynamic, full service capability that is ready to meet all of our customer's manufacturing requirements.

The GMS Advantage

Since all customer contact and financial arrangements are through our factory here in North Carolina; the manufacturing process is invisible to the GMS customer. This results in the GMS customer realizing all of the financial advantages of overseas manufacturing, while at the same time experiencing all the advantages of the convenience and ease of interfacing with a domestically located U.S. manufacturer.

We here in North Carolina are responsible for the entire project from start up to delivered product, and especially the product's quality. Experience has shown that when a company takes their product to a foreign manufacturer without knowing the foreign company, it is highly likely that the end result will be a disaster.
